Let's meet some powerful ingredients

Fullerenes are a unique class of carbon molecules that were discovered in 1985. They are also called "buckyballs" because of their spherical shape, which resembles a soccer ball. Fullerenes have a wide range of potential applications, including use in electronics, drug delivery, and skincare.

In skincare, fullerenes are used as an antioxidant. They have been shown to have strong antioxidant properties, which means they can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can cause damage to skin cells, leading to signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.

One of the benefits of fullerenes is that they can penetrate deep into the skin, reaching the deeper layers where free radicals are most damaging. This makes them particularly effective at protecting the skin from oxidative stress, which can be caused by pollution, UV radiation, and other environmental factors.

Fullerenes are also believed to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce redness and irritation in the skin. This makes them a useful ingredient for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Overall, fullerenes have the potential to be a powerful ingredient in skincare products, helping to protect and repair the skin from damage caused by free radicals and other environmental stressors.

FULLERENE WON THE NOBEL PRIZE?

The discovery of fullerene did indeed play a role in the awarding of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The prize was awarded jointly to three scientists: Robert F. Curl Jr., Sir Harold W. Kroto, and Richard E. Smalley, for their discovery of a new form of carbon, buckminsterfullerene, also known as C60.

In their research, the three scientists used a laser to vaporize carbon and then analyzed the resulting molecules. They found that they had produced a previously unknown form of carbon that had a unique structure resembling a soccer ball, with 60 carbon atoms arranged in a pattern of pentagons and hexagons.

This discovery was a major breakthrough in the field of nanotechnology, as it opened up new possibilities for the development of new materials and technologies. The unique properties of fullerene, such as its strength, stability, and conductivity, have led to its use in a wide range of applications, from electronic devices to drug delivery systems.

In recognition of their groundbreaking research, Curl, Kroto, and Smalley were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996. Their discovery of fullerene continues to have a significant impact on scientific research and technological development to this day.

RECOMBINANT TYPE III HUMENIZED COLLAGEN

recombinant humanized collagen effects

Recombinant type III humanized collagen is produced by inserting a specific DNA sequence into a host cell, which then produces the collagen protein. This process allows for the production of collagen that is similar in structure and function to the collagen found in human tissues, but with greater purity and consistency

Recombinant type III humanized collagen is often used in medical and cosmetic applications, including wound healing, tissue engineering, and skincare. In skincare, collagen is used to help improve the appearance of the skin by promoting skin hydration, improving skin elasticity, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Recombinant type III humanized collagen is considered to be a safe and effective ingredient in skincare products, as it is derived from human sources and is less likely to cause allergic reactions compared to collagen derived from animal sources. However, as with any skincare ingredient, it is important to consult with a dermatologist or skincare professional before adding products containing recombinant type III humanized collagen to your skincare routine.
